Annual Conservation Banquet

The Appalachian Habitat Association (AHA) holds an annual Conservation Banquet with the proceeds used to fund projects to improve local land habitat, provide scholarships, and fund research studies to benefit the Appalachian region of Western Virginia.

The event includes a social hour, dinner, a large variety of raffles, and an exciting live auction featuring Matt and Phillip Howell, Howell Auctioneers. The event is the AHA's major fundraising activity. In addition, it provides an opportunity for all individuals interested in the mission of the AHA to meet, socialize and learn all about the work of the AHA.

In this post-Covid year, we were excited to welcome 341 attendees to the event which grossed $101,403.00 and netted $52,567.00 after expenses. We are grateful to our attendees and to those noted below, who contributed generously.

We are a donation-based organization. All of our work is funded by your support. All Board Members volunteer their time and it is through your donations and support of our fundraising activities that we are able to continue this important work.

We accept donations in support of our efforts to promote education and habitat improvement throughout our region.
